The Sacrament of the Eucharist is the source and summit of our lives as Christians. The Eucharist is the true presence of Jesus, who gave his own life for our salvation. Thus, as we receive Christ's Body and Blood at each Mass, we are nourished spiritually by his sacrifice and are brought closer to God.
